The challenge we face

Approximately one in ten children is born prematurely worldwide, totaling 13.5 million annually, with numbers continuing to rise. Globally, 30 million premature babies require care in Neonatal Intensive Care Units (NICUs) each year.  Neonatales (UCIN) cada año.

In Mexico, this translates to approximately 170,000 children needing NICU support annually. In Mexico, insurance typically covers only 60% to 70% of medical bills, and none provide coverage for follow-up treatment.
